On September 12-13 members of the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. Grzegorz Dyrmo and Piotr Nowak participated in a series of working meetings at the Port of Antwerp. Technical, financial and legal conditions of the development of European ports have been discussed. Great interest in the extension of the Port of Gdynia has been expressed by both container terminal operators and hydrotechnical industry entities.
On 12 July 2018, Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. purchased from the Ship repair yard NAUTA SA the perpetual usufruct right to real properties and vacant sites with a total land area of 61,935 square meters, including real property ownership rights to buildings, facilities and other equipment located there, at 1 Waszyngtona St. in Gdynia.
The first six months of 2018 have yielded great trans-shipment results for the Port of Gdynia.
The Port of Gdynia is in the lead among Polish seaports in such an important field as the protection of the environment.
