Konferencja „Przebudowa intermodalnego terminalu kolejowego w Porcie Gdynia”.

31 lipca 2014r. w siedzibie Zarządu Morskiego Portu Gdynia S.A. w Gdyni odbyła się otwierająca konferencja informacyjna dotycząca projektu pn. „Przebudowa intermodalnego terminalu kolejowego w Porcie Gdynia”, współfinansowanego przez Unię Europejską ze środków Funduszu Spójności w ramach Programu Operacyjnego Infrastruktura i Środowisko. Tego samego dnia podpisana została z firmą Energopol – Szczecin S.A. umowa na prace budowlane, opiewająca na kwotę 73.548.290,00 zł brutto. Prace będą realizowane w latach 2014-2015.

Privatisation in the Port of Gdynia in its final stage


It has been almost 133 months since the Port of Gdynia Authority sold 100% of the shares in the first privatised operating entity in the Port of Gdynia. On the grounds of the agreement signed on 30 May 2003 the whole of the shares in BCT – Baltic Container Terminal Ltd. were purchased by the international corporation ICTSI based in the Philippines. Further privatisations that port authorities were obliged by the legislator to carry out came in the years that followed. Today’s agreement concerning privatisation of Gdynia’s general cargo terminal concludes the last stage of privatising the port terminals of the Port of Gdynia Authority Capital Group, in which the Port Authority owned 100 % of the shares.

Port of Gdynia Authority awarded with European Medal by BCC


On 4 June 2014, at Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, the 25th finale of the European Medal contest took place. The award is given by the Business Centre Club to Polish companies for their achievements and their contribution to the growth of Polish economy, and increasing its importance across the UE.
