First measurement session – water and sediment sampling

On 28.02.2022, within the Port of Gdynia, the next stage of work under the MPSS project began.
Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. together with representatives of Gdynia Maritime University, Maritime Institute and Marine Technology Sp. z o.o., on 28.02-03.03.2022, conducted the first measurement session whose aim was to collect samples of water and sediment from designated points located in the port basins. The work was carried out using an unmanned unit that automatically collected the material necessary for laboratory tests. This is the first of four planned for 2022, measurement sessions with the use of an unmanned unit.
