Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. has the honour to invite you to the Tadeusz Wenda Congress of the Port of Gdynia Maritime Economy, which will be held on 20-23 September 2022 in the concert hall of the Port of Gdynia Authority (9 Rotterdamska Street).

100 years of the Port of Gdynia, 100 years of INNOVATION, COMMUNICATION AND OUR “WINDOW TO THE WORLD”

The Port of Gdynia and the city of Gdynia came to being thanks to the vision and work of great people. From its early days the port has been attracting outstanding specialists, as well as scientific and research workers. The Port of Gdynia has been building the future of business, the economy and the inhabitants. It has been creating the beautiful city of Gdynia and giving work to people. Today, along with the development of civilisation, another element of responsibility for the region is the support of local communities and employees, also through numerous cultural and sporting initiatives.

The event’s patron is Tadeusz Wenda – the brilliant designer of Gdynia’s port, who was head of the Port Construction Office for 17 years.

In this special year, we have invited representatives of science, business and culture to create a unique place to discuss the Port of Gdynia past and present. During the four-day congress we will combine theory and practice.

Special guest: Prof. Jerzy Bralczyk with his lecture “100 for 100 years”.
