The start date for construction works of the intermodal terminal in the Port of Gdynia is approaching

As a result of the preparatory work carried out in the project of the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. called “Construction of the intermodal terminal in the Logistics Centre of the Port of Gdynia”, co-founded by the European Union under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for the years 2021-2027, a stationary, concrete loading ramp was designed, for which a revised building permit was obtained on August 7, 2024.

In the currently implemented second work package in the project, the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. published a tender notice for construction works concerning the construction of the intermodal terminal on October 21, 2024. Then, on November 25, 2024, the opening of tender offers took place. The selection of the contractor is planned for December 2024, and the signing of the construction contract is expected at the beginning of 2025.

At the same time, the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. is carrying out activities aimed at informing about the implementation of the project co-founded by the European Union.
