In the first half of 2017 two new facilities will be commissioned in the Port of Gdynia: a modern high storage warehouse, and a open storage compartment with a surface of 8 thousand m².
The new warehouse at Polska street allows for high storage of various general cargo, including groceries in packaging, given that sanitary and epidemiological requirements have been met. The facility with a usable floor area of more than 5 thousand m² is made up of three storage chambers together with ramps, an office section and a car park.
As a target solution, the modern construction will allow dividing all the storage chambers into smaller parts (modules) by means of attachable and detachable partitions. The non-demolished part of the old building restored as required by the City Conservator of Cultural Heritage in Gdynia has been designed for office space.
At the same time, we are building a open storage compartment with a surface of 8 thousand m² at the French Quay in the vicinity of the Maritime Terminal Building, the open storage compartment being designed for storing such cargo as for instance coal, coke, and aggregate.
