Catalogue of best practices for dry bulk fertilizers and phosphate

By engaging in activities and initiatives related to sustainable development, the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A., together with other Polish Baltic ports, maritime offices, terminals and a group of practitioners, actively participated in the creation of a catalogue of best practices for the handling of dry bulk goods, in particular fertilizers and phosphate rock. 

The main purpose of creating the Catalogue of Best Practices and Technologies, initiated and created by the Race For The Baltic organization, is to support solutions aimed at improving the condition of the Baltic Sea by reducing nitrogen and phosphorus emissions to port waters.

In accordance with the “greenport” idea, the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. makes the above-mentioned Catalogue available to its stakeholders with the conviction that it will become a good practice for terminals operating in the Port of Gdynia, thus contributing to the protection of the marine environment in our port.
