The Port of Gdynia took part in the Polish Sea Day organized within the 8th CMDTUR Conference in Zilina, Slovakia. This international conference was organized by the University of Zilina under the auspices of the National Chamber of Maritime Economy, Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bratislava and Slovakian-Polish Chamber of Commerce. Creation and organization of the section called “Polish Ports for Slovakian Entities” is a continuation of the Polish Sea Day in Bratislava organized by the National Chamber of Maritime Economy with the RP Embassy in Slovakia.
On Tuesday 2 October, at 6.00 pm, at the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation (ul. Nowy Świat 6/12) official opening of the “Port of Gdynia – Flagship Investment of Independent Poland” exhibition will take place.
On 26-27 September 2018 Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. participated in the 2nd Baltic Ports & Shipping 2018 Conference & Exhibition, hosted this year by the Latvian capital – Riga. The event, dedicated completely to the maritime industry, focused on efficiency boost, investments and innovation supporting sustained development.
Since 28 September a complete set of specialist sensors installed in five different spots within the comprehensive yetiSense system has been operating at the Port of Gdynia, monitoring the quality of the air 24h/day, especially the level of carbon dust produced during transhipments.
