Load record of the goods in MTMG


On 24 October  2011 the vessel m/v Plato sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands called at the port of Gdynia to get loaded with the record amount of Polish consumer wheat for export.

The m/v Plato vessel (new unit, launched in August 2011) with an overall length of 196 m and a gross tonnage of 34,378 GT will spend more than a week in the Port of Gdynia. At that time the vessel will be loaded with approximately 33,000 tonnes of wheat by the Polish Baltic Grain Terminal Sp. z o.o., and then, on  30 October the vessel will move to MTMG - Mass Maritime Terminal Gdynia Sp. z o.o. to get loaded with further 22,000 tonnes. The total record load of the goods will amount to 55,000 tonnes.
