On August 28th, 2011 The Delta Shipping Lines officially opened their new container service linking the ports of Hamburg, Rotterdam, Aarhus, Gdynia and St.. Petersburg.
The vessels of Delta Shipping Lines up to 1036 TEU will be stevedoring by GCT (Gdynia Container Terminal) - Bułgarskie Wharf. The frequency of calls - once a week. It will be the next regular connection from Gdynia Port to Saint Petersburg – transit time 36 hours. The Safe Shipping Ltd is the exclusive agent of Delta Shipping Lines at the Port of Gdynia.
