The meeting of the Steering Committee for the project "Motorway of the Sea Baltic-Link: Gdynia-Karlskrona" was held on 16.05.2011 at the headquarters of the Port of Gdynia Authority. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the companies and institutions participating in the Project from both the Swedish and Polish side. The Steering Committee is to assess the progress of the realization of the project and to approve the annual reports, as well as, if necessary, to change the scope and the elements of the project.

During the meeting, the Committee approved the schedule of the project implementation for the current year and the schedule of working meetings of various committees. The next meeting of the Management Committee will be held at the headquarters of the Port of Gdynia Authority on June 8, 2011, and a seminar with the so-called market players is planned in September. The project "Motorway of the Sea Gdynia-Karlskrona" refers to the infrastructural investment and logistic operations to service the growing trade exchange between Sweden, Poland and other Central European countries, particularly the ferry connection from Gdynia to Karlskrona. The project is going to be completed before 30.06.2013
