A group of students from the University of Gdańsk, specialization: International Trade and Maritime Transport visited the Port of Gdynia Authority SA on 11th May this year.
Mr Krzysztof Gromadowski - Director for International Cooperation and Public Relations acquainted the guests who came to the headquarters of PGA SA with basic information about the port - its history, current structure and ongoing investments. The meeting also gave an opportunity to make a presentation concerning the investment called "Reconstruction of the Port Channel at the Port of Gdynia" that has recently been completed and was co-financed by the European Union in the amount of PLN 53.73 million. At the end of the visit, students visited the usually inaccessible areas of the Port of Gdynia and became acquainted with modern technologies of handling.
