The Norwegian sailing ship Sorlandet regarded as one of the most beautiful in the world, arrived in the Port of Gdynia at about 8am on Friday, 22nd April. The vessel is moored at the Pomeranian Quay but it shall be available for visitors only on Monday, 25th April between 9 am and 11am. The length of this three-master ship which is the oldest in the world (it was built in 1927) is 64.15m, its hull is 8.87m wide and the width including lifeboats - 14.87 m. Sorlandet sailing ship is used for training purposes; there is enough room for 70 people on its board and 15 professional crew members.
