W weekend 18-19 lutego w godzinach 10:00-16:00 okręt będzie dostępny dla zwiedzających. Jednostka opuści gdyński port 21 lutego ok. godziny 12.30, aby wziąć udział w międzynarodowych ćwiczeniach na wodach Norwegii.

Informacja środowiskowa dot. rejonu Nabrzeża Bułgarskiego

Zarząd Morskiego Portu Gdynia S.A. jest w trakcie przygotowań do uruchomienia realizacji inwestycji zagospodarowania ostatniego znaczącego terenu rozwojowego portu gdyńskiego, znajdującego się na końcu Kanału Portowego, w rejonie Estakady Kwiatkowskiego. Inwestycja pod nazwą „Zagospodarowanie rejonu Nabrzeża Bułgarskiego w Porcie Gdynia” będzie obejmowała budowę: 192 mb. Nabrzeża Bułgarskiego, wraz z dodatkowymi 127 mb. nabrzeża zamykającego Kanał Portowy do linii Nabrzeża Helskiego II (Baza Promowa), powierzchni manewrowo-składowych przy nabrzeżach, nowej ul. Logistycznej, komunikującej cały obszar rozwojowy portu oraz poprowadzenia wielu nowych odcinków sieci energetycznych i wodno-kanalizacyjnych, pozwalających na uporządkowanie gospodarki wodnej w tym rejonie.

ZMPG annual press conference


On February 8th, during the annual press conference held at the headquarters of the Port of Gdynia Authority SA, a summary of the operations of the Port of Gdynia Authority SA in 2011 was presented to the representatives of the media, including the data on transhipment at the Gdynia terminals. The subject of the presentation were also last year's investment activities of the Port Authority and plans in this regard until 2014.

BCT - intermodal record


Last month the Baltic Container Terminal in Gdynia reported the highest share of containers transhipped on rail in its history - as much as 43.7% of containers were carried by rail. In January, BCT handled a total of 30 475 TEUs. The company is a leader among the marine container terminals as far as the intermodal transport is concerned.

First big "panamax" in MTMG


On the first day of February this year a bulk carrier Panamax type m/v "Alam Pesona" with a cargo of over 73 thousand of tons of power coal called at the MTMG - Maritime Bulk Terminal Gdynia. This is the first visit in 2012 of such a large vessel in Gdynia bulk terminal, which thus started a kind of parade of large bulk carriers, which are going to call at MTMG - Maritime Bulk Terminal Gdynia in the current year ...

Annual meeting of the ZMPG and Finnish Partners


The annual meeting of the representatives of the Port of Gdynia with the Finnish partners was held in the Polish Embassy in Helsinki on Tuesday, 24 January. The Ambassador Janusz Niesyto - the host greeted the numerous guests, carriers, shippers and port companies leaders present, and Mr. Janusz Jarosinski, President of the Port of Gdynia Authority SA thanked for the achieved results of cooperation of the Port of Gdynia with the Finnish markets.

Modern scanner for screening containers in BCT


The most modern scanner in Poland for screening containers was installed at the Baltic Container Terminal in the port of Gdynia. The facility, which was acquired by the Pomeranian Customs Office, costed almost 8.5 million PLN and shall greatly affect the effectiveness of services, time of customer service at the Terminal and security of transport.

Pearl award for ZMPG S.A.


"Pearls of the Polish economy" is the only domestic ranking of an economic nature which is not constructed on the basis of subjective evaluations. Researchers of the Institute of Economic Sciences (PAN) have developed an algorithm to allow the computer assign the rank based on data submitted by the company. Companies that are evaluated reach operational revenues exceeding PLN 100 million. Port of Gdynia Authority SA, as the only seaport authority was qualified for this prestigious ranking, occupying 54th place in the category: "Big Pearls".
