Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. on the basis of Art. No. 139 of Act on Environment Protection (Dz.U.2001.62.627), as the manager of the area is responsible for compliance with the environmental regulations in connection with port operations.

There has been created an Environmental Management System within the area managed by Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. The Environmental Management System includes following activities:

The Environmental Management System is continuously modified towards with newly published legal acts on environment protection and waste management; acts which unify Polish regulations with International Conventions and European Union regulations.
